Pamela Prescod-Caesar

Pamela Prescod-Caesar is an experienced human resources executive who provides interim leadership and consultation. She has held leadership roles in higher education and various industries.

Most recently, Pamela served as Denison University’s Interim CHRO, where she led the transformation of the HR organization and helped to operationalize the university’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism initiatives. She managed a comprehensive review of the university’s Total Rewards programs and implemented a new HRIS system.

Before Denison, Pamela served as the Vice President for Human Resources at Swarthmore College, where she provided consultation and guidance to the president and senior leaders on strategic initiatives. Under her direction, she led the HR team to launch creative initiatives in workforce engagement, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion. She guided the College through a remodel of its compensation and benefits programs, a realignment of its 403(b)-retirement plan, a transition to a self-insured healthcare model, and launched the implementation of a new HRIS system.

Her previous executive leadership roles include the Associate Vice President for Human Resources at Colgate University, several senior-level positions at Harvard University, and as Vice President of Human Resources at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries in Boston.

Pamela is a dynamic, independent coach and facilitator who thrives helping leaders discover their best potential to achieve success.

 She holds a master's degree in business administration from Curry College and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Lesley College. She is also a Certified SHRM Human Resources Professional, achieved a Cornell Diversity and Inclusion Certificate, and has studied at Hudson Institute of Coaching.
